Description
Zhi Bai Di Huang Wan
Actions and Indications: Nourishes yin and reduces heatiness. Helps with symptoms caused by heatiness due to yin-deficiency like tidal fever, sweating at night, thirst, sore throat, tinnitus, seminal emission and dark colored urine.
Dosage: Oral administration. 30 pills (6grams) each time, two times a day.
Contraindications: Contains berberine. Contraindicated in children less than 1 year, Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficient individuals, pregnant and breastfeeding women. Avoid foods that are not easily digestible. Do not take when experiencing fever and flu symptoms. Children and patients with severe chronic diseases like hypertension, diabetes, cardiac, liver and kidney diseases should consult a physician before consuming this medication.
Side Effects: Occasional nausea, vomiting, rashes and fever. Stop medication if symptoms develop. If symptoms persist after stopping medication, please consult a doctor or traditional Chinese medicine practitioner.
